COMPREHENSIVE FUNCTIONAL LAB TESTING

test tubes.jpeg

Confused by lab results that came back normal when you know something doesn’t feel right? Or maybe you haven’t run the labs you feel necessary. Dr. Gansner can request comprehensive functional lab testing to look for hidden food allergies, nutrient and vitamin deficiencies, low thyroid function, adrenal fatigue, candida overgrowth, or hormone imbalances, assessing all areas for the root cause of a patient’s health concerns.

Hormonal Lab Testing

There are over 50 hormones being secreted and circulating through your body.  Hormonal excesses and deficiencies can cause imbalances in the body and affect its overall function. Dr. Gansner can request a variety of hormone lab tests to be conducted through Rocky Mountain Analytical to assess each patient’s hormone makeup and determine if any diet or lifestyle modifications are necessary for a healthier and more energetic outcome.

Adrenal Fatigue and Cortisol Level Testing

Life is stressful, believe us, we know. While we may not be able to remove all the stress from your life, we can help you find ways to deal with and manage it. Prolonged stress can be detrimental to the body’s ability to function, both physically and emotionally. We can provide a comprehensive analysis of the stress hormones in your body and tools to help you cope.

Male and Female Hormone Panels

Men and women aren’t quite from separate planets, but the proper amounts of hormones in their body are nonetheless different. We test for the key hormones specific to each sex and their balance in the body, and help guide you on how to course correct in the best way for you.

Month Long Hormone Assessment

We collect multiple samples over the period of a month to perform a comprehensive analysis of the state of your hormones as they rise and fall along with the body’s natural cycles and compare it with your symptoms to identify possible solutions to cycle specific health concerns.

Thyroid (Urine Analysis)

Your thyroid is one of the most important glands in your body, the main purpose of which is regulating metabolic rates in your body. Symptoms of thyroid deficiency vary wildly because of the crucial role it plays in regulating many of the body’s functions. We test urine to see if the symptoms you’re experiencing are thyroid related.

Food Sensitivity & Allergy Testing

We’ve all heard of food allergies, and now it’s becoming more and more common to hear of food sensitivities. The term is used to describe a different immune reaction to food. This is the test to find out once and for all if you really shouldn’t have that ice cream.

Celiac Profile

Many people find their bodies don’t respond well to gluten. For those with celiac disease, in which the body produces a very severe immune reaction to the presence of gluten, consuming gluten can be deadly.  While many others are finding they’re simply gluten sensitive. We test your blood for the levels of several antibodies to determine whether your body can process gliadin, the protein associated with gluten issues.

Heavy Metal Testing (Urine Analysis)

Many elemental metals are naturally occurring in the environment, and some are even healthy for our body in small amounts. But like any ecosystem, too much of anything can throw off your balance, and be detrimental to your body’s ability to function. We test for specific elements that are most damaging to your body’s balance and recommend treatments to best detoxify.

Candida Panel

Candida is a type of yeast typically found in the intestines and can lead to yeast infections and ringworm. Its overgrowth is fuelled by consuming too many sugar-rich foods, and can cause a variety of problems. We test for the antibodies produced when there is an excess of candida in the body, and recommend steps to lower its presence in your body.

Gastrointestinal Analysis (Gut-well)

Your body is composed of different bacteria, pathogens, proteins, cells, and organisms that contribute to your digestive function – many of them good, some of them not-so-good. If you’re suffering from consistent indigestion, diarrhea, constipation, reflux, pain, or gas, it might be worthwhile to take our test and see how we can help your gut get back on track.
